  1.     This program is only a minor update to the current version you have
  2.       running.  It is mostly cosmetic changes to some spelling errors so
  3.       if you do not want to upgrade yours, you do not really need to.
  4.  
  5.     There is a program batch file on this disk called UPGRADE.BAT.  You
  6.       can use it to upgrade your current MIMENU to this latest version.
  7.       Start the file with the command of:
  8.  
  9.                    UPGRADE C    if your MIMENU is on the C: drive or
  10.                    UPGRADE D    if your MIMENU is on the D: drive.
  11.  
  12.     The file expects to find your current MIMENU files located in a
  13.       \MIMENU directory.  If you have installed MIMENU in any other
  14.       directory, you will need to edit this file or follow the following
  15.       simple instructions to manually update your current program.
  16.  
  17.     If you are updating MIMENU from version 3.0 - 3.1, you only need to copy
  18.       the following files into your current MIMENU directory:
  19.  
  20.                    MI-RUN.EXE
  21.                    MIMENU.HLP
  22.                    If you want to view new changes to the document files
  23.                    then also copy in README.DOC and HISTORY.DOC.

  25.     If you are updating MIMENU from versions 2.9 thru 2.6, you only
  26.       need to copy the following files into your current MIMENU directory:

  28.                    MI-RUN.EXE
  29.                    MIMENU.HLP
  30.                    README.DOC
  31.                    MENU.BAT    (if you have renamed this file to some
  32.                                 other name, then copy this file to replace
  33.                                 your old file)

  35.     If you are updating MIMENU from version 2.5 or 2.4x, you need to get
  36.       an older version of MIMENU that includes the following file:

  38.                    CONVERT.EXE
  39.  
  40.     The CONVERT.EXE program is automatically ran out of MIMENU and will
  41.       erase itself after it converts the old DEFAULT.DAT file and
  42.       PASSWRD.DAT file into a new MI-RUN.CFG file.

  44.     It is always best to have any password protection turned off before
  45.       doing this update, just in case something is not read properly in
  46.       the conversion.

  48.     If you are updating MIMENU from an older version other than mentioned
  49.       above, there are just too many changes to make the conversion simple.
  50.       I would recommend that you just do a Print Screen of both the modify
  51.       screen and the color screen.  After you do the print screens so you
  52.       will have a copy of your current configuration you will also need to
  53.       copy the file MI-RUN.CFG into your MIMENU directory along with the
  54.       files listed above except for the CONVERT.EXE file which will not be
  55.       needed.  You can delete the DEFAULT.DAT and PASSWRD.DAT or
  56.       (PASSWORD.DAT as it was called in older versions).

  59.     This update disk also includes the compressed MIMENU program disk
  60.       called MIMEN31A.ZIP.  If this version of the program is not currently
  61.       in your local area, please upload the file to your local Bulletin
  62.       Boards or on to others.

  64.     Also included on this disk is another file called MILABL23.ZIP.  It is
  65.       a floppy disk label maker which produces labels like the one printed
  66.       on your upgrade disk.  Please pass this program on also.
